The Road Not Taken
by: Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the tother, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy ans wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.

The Source Of Life starts at... 12:20 AM.
+Retained...+
Yes people, it's official. I'm now a retainee in YJC. Ya I know that it's a bit humiliating but I actually expected it. To me, being retained is better than having to suffer going through the subjects again. What if I were to be promoted, surely the chances of me going to university would be like what, 5%? So might as well I retain and go through some of the subjects that I did last year again. Yes people, I said SOME but not all.
Economics, that's definitely out. I can't stand the subject. They said that it's all about common sense. Common sense my foot la. It's so bloody difficult to understand la. The thing is, I tried learning all the concepts but I just can't figure out where and when to use them. What with fierce STs (subject tutors) and notes that lacks information, I hate Economics. Just hate it. So goodbye Econs!
I'm considering of changing my Literature in English from H2 level to H1 level. Another killer subject. I hate Antony and Cleopatra lor. Barge passage la, Actium war la, just can't grasp what the characters are trying to portray in the play. At least Narayan's 'The Guide' is easier to grasp than A&C. Well, literature is a subject that I'm considering to switch the levels or just replacing it with Chinese Studies... yes people, CHINESE STUDIES!
Mr Heng said that Chinese Studies is also conducted in English and we basically need to learn about the Chinese Culture. He also said that probably the students will be going to China during the June holidays and he suggested to me that I could try out for the subject- go to the classes and such... but still, I'm still considering between CS and EN.
Then Mathematics. I actually wanted to take H2 maths rather than H1 maths that I took last year. But the thing is, the minimum requirement is that I should have at least a PASS in A Maths and/or Distinction in E Maths for 'O' Levels. And I doubt that they'll let me take it as I got a miserable 'U' for my maths january block test. Haix...
Malay Language and Literature is a definite keep as I've tried the proses, poems, novel and dramas and I hope with more time to study it and a background of it, I could score better in my Sastera. And who knows might be able to go for another immersion trip during the June holidays.
(Wah, if I take MLL and CS, I could go to two countries ah! Cool!)
Oh ya, I've gotten into the same CTG as six other retainees, some of them I know of and the CTG is P32. 7 Retainees sia! But anyway, I must promise myself to work harder this year. AKE UP KHAIRUL!
