The Road Not Taken
by: Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the tother, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy ans wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference.

+The Escape from Pure Mendak-ness+
Hey guys! It's been a while since I blogged. Well what to do, other than the fact that I failed my studies, I've been busy with other things totally not relating to school. The whole of last week, I've been revising my work like shit! I did like what Miss Koh said/ advised. I've been studying three hours per day, well, only Economics though. Somehow I got to understand some of the topics (if only I'd done so before the Promos) that I used to be weak at. For this week, I'm planning to study Literature. I'm re-reading the texts and meaybe I'll be starting on the assignments by this Thursday. Then for next week, It'll be for Malay Literature but I've sort of read the texts given for the assignments.
Anyway, I did not have the mood today to study... so I watched 'Radio', a DVD I have before getting an SMS from Azhar.
Azhar: Bro, skola niari? Me: Tak.. why? Azhar: Free tk? Aku mendak ar Me: i guess so.. why? want to go out? Azhar: Yah! I nid 2 go out..haha Me: Want to go where? Azhar: Hahaha! Wanna b0wl?hahaha Me: I dun noe.. Azhar: Nk ke tk? Oh ko nk jln2 kt mall maner2? Me: How about orchard? Azhar: Erm, goin fri actuali..bt saner hujan tk?Haha Me: I dun noe.. maybe. or u want to go vivo instead? Azhar: Viv0 g ramai2 ar gerek..k ar, 0rchard, kul brape? Me: 2.30? Azhar: Kkaez, as l0ng i reach hme b4 maghrib ca\n aredi Me: Ok I'm sure that some of you reading this might be wondering why I typed out the conversation I had with him. Lolx, just wanted to... more for me to type you see, and besides, it's a form of exercise for my stubby fingers right?
Anyway, like what you've just read, we initially decided to go orchard, or I guess that I was the one who wanted to go Orchard. I wanted to see the Christmas decorations la. But we ended up not going there. Instead, we went BOWLING! We changed our minds when Azhar brought up the bowling idea again in the bus. At that moment, a thought crossed my mind.
Me (thinking): Hey why not? I missed the friday one, and God knows how long since I bowled. Me (speaking): Aku tak kisah, if you want to go bowling then let's go... I guess I'd rather pass the twinkle fairies to go bowl. And so we went bowling at the Orchid Country Club.
I'm an OCC virgin, so when I arrived at the club, I was like whoah! so peaceful and quiet! It was sort of empty and somehow, when I saw the paintball area, I was thinking "if only miss tan booked the paintball game prior to the class outing"... never mind, perhaps one day, I'll get to shoot someone with a paintball.
So back to the bowling. Hearing the sound of crashing pins and the thuds of bowling balls being thrown onto the lanes lifted me and they became music to my ears. There was not many people as I had expected but it was fine. Paid for the shoes ($2.00- $1 each pair) and we started to bowl! Apparently, I lost to Azhar in three games straight, but still, it's just a game right? Maybe next time... Watch out bro! Well, at least had a strike once (thank you Pink bowling ball!) but still I lost... *sigh*
At the end of three games, Azhar's arm started to ache and my fingers had ached (and still is), so we paid up for our games and off we went... to Causeway Point! Ok ya, it's been a while since I've been there, but Causeway Point was the first thing that we thought of as a post-bowling means of spending time at. So went to CP and I simply love the Christmas items... so beautiful.
So people, that's what we did for today ad I hope that we could go bowl again another time...
ps.. for those who want to go bowling... ask me along aightx!
