The Source Of Life starts at... 4:22 PM.
+elections frenzy+hello everyone. Yesterday was YJ Band's election day and all 16 Candidates made their rally speeches. Out of the 16, only eight got chosen. These eight are those who got the top 8 number of votes and this also makes up the Executive Committee. Yours truly, made it to these lucky eight and the post that I got, we're all not sure of at the moment. They say that it'll either be posted on the band blog or they'll SMS our posts. So far, I've checked the blog and it still remained the same.Ok, so yesterday, there were interesting events that unfolded in due to the elections. Even though we (the candidates) are said to be supportive of one another, tensions sparked at the end of it, after the top 8 were revealed. I do not want to type out what exactly happened because I respect everyone. Even if this post is considered as not being respectful to the parties involved, I'm sorry. I hope that these tensions will be settled once and for all when the new committee steps into office.Anyway, I don't know why, but I got bloody nervous yesterday. i almost cried after all the questions that the present Vice-President Wee Leong bombarded me with ridiculously challenging questions. Maybe it's because I have low self-confidence now and perhaps these questions to me felt like a morale boost to find the self-confidence tha I had "Lost". All and all, I survived the rallies without fainting or having seizures and phew that's over. I decided to run for Presidency, or if not, at least the Vice-Precidency and there are a handful of others who also ran for the same post that I want.Whatever it is, whatever post I may get, I will do my best to contribute to the band. Congrats to the lucky 8. To the others who did not make it, don't lose hope because we are all family, and whether or not you have or do not have a post, I still regard you as an equal. Love ya!+never forgotten+I met Raihana at the junction near to my grandmomma's house. Well, i was the one ho noticed her and people who know me, I usually snap my fingers to catch attention. Well, I snapped my fingers in front of her face (she had her ear-phones on and was rummaging her bag) and the usual "hey! da lama tak jumpa" (hey, it's been a while that we last met) conversation happened. Well, i admit, the snapping of fingers in front of faces seemed bloody rude and I'm thinking of kicking the habit.so anyways, as usual, when old friends meet up after such a long time, we are bound to discuss about our school lives. Here's what we talked about, well from what I recall la:
me: so how's TP?
rai: Stress. Next week satu minggu test- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. haix
me: so it's basically the whole week la! Lucky mine will be in three weeks time. When is your holiday anyway?
rai: Week 8 and 9
me: (stunned-eight and nine?)Only two weeks?
rai: ya
me: Btw, i have an extra ticket for Gentarasa 'cos Shariman tak jadi pergi. u want?
rai: Kita dua ajer? Khalis ape hal?
me: you can buy tix on the spot. so u want?
rai: see first la. Next week test kan.
me: ok
and it continued until the lift of the block reached her floor. as usual also, I kirimkan salam kepada budak-budak EVG yang lain. then proceeded up to the sixth floor that is my grand-momma's house.
I am glad that I get to meet up with one of those I've dearly missed and also felt that I miss them because I felt guilty. Why? Because of not making it to Poly, where they are all now. I've seen pictures of them and so far, I've seen pictures of them together, without me. Aww, now I feel sad. But I'm glad that I have new friends to stop these tears of mine. Well not exactly, unless if you cry from laughing a lot. That's what happens when you mix a Malay guy, a Malay girl, an Indian girl, a Chinese-Indian Girl and a Chinese Girl together to form up the 5 eediots of 127. They make me laugh all day. HAHAX! Love ya guys!
So anyway people, that's all that I have for today. Take Care! Happy Holidays!
